Ryan Feierabend signs with Texas Rangers
The Revolution single-season ERA record holder is on the move again.
While the Revs are still roughly a week or two away from announcing any official player signings for the 2013 campaign, we can share that it was anticipated lefty Ryan Feierabend would return to the York rotation for at least the start of the season. That is no longer the case, as Feierabend will head to spring training with the Texas Rangers.
Last season, Feierabend began the season with the Revolution before having his contract purchased by the Cincinnati Reds and assigned to Triple-A Louisville on June 5. He returned to York on July 26 after making seven starts for Louisville. All told with the Revs, Feierabend made 18 starts, going 9-5 with a 2.70 ERA in 113 innings to set a new Revolution single-season ERA mark for a starter in the hitter-friendly Atlantic League.
The Cleveland, OH native has 25 Major League appearances under his belt with 19 starts, all with the Seattle Mariners between 2006 and 2008.
