Revs teammates are “20-20” for the first time

Another York Revolution home run milestone?  OK!  On September 6 against Sugar Land, Andres Perez smacked his 20th homer of the season in the third inning.  Coupled with Chris Nowak, it’s the first time in franchise history two players have hit 2o bombs in one season.  Batting after Perez in the third, Nowak smacked his 28th homer for good measure to extend his already record single-season total.

The closest the Revolution had come to this feat was 2008, when Jason Aspito smoked 24 dingers, and Matt Dryer finished just under 20 with 18.
