The info on Monday’s championship ceremony

Overnight the Revolution front office sent out this e-mail to fans regarding the county and city honoring the back-to-back champs this Monday on the steps of city hall.  If it didn’t reach you, here you go.  If you can make it, we’ll see you there.

Hey Fans!

Before we put the 2011 season to bed and charge toward 2012, there’s one final celebration planned for our back-to-back championships! This Halloween Monday, at Noon, the City and County of York will honor the Revolution with a ceremony on the steps of City Hall at 50 East King Street in Downtown York. All fans are invited to attend, so stop by over your lunch break if you can! Remarks during the ceremony will come from Mayor Kim Bracey, Revolution President & General Manager Eric Menzer, Play-by-Play announcer Darrell Henry, Manager Andy Etchebarren, Pitching Coach Mark Mason and other York County Commissioners and elected officials.

The event is free and open to the public. In honor of the team and its fans, short victory speeches and team giveaways are planned, and mascot DownTown will of course be there as well. Also, bring an appetite…there might be a tasty surprise, but that’s all we can say for now!
